CPH Airport is the official iPhone app of Copenhagen Airports - one of Northern Europe's most trafficked airports. The app offers lots of useful features for the busy traveller, including flight times with updates through push notifications, waiting time in security, a shopping and eating guide with user reviews plus all sorts of handy maps. In other words, this is the app to get if you are flying to or from Copenhagen.

TextOne is a fun and useful messaging application for iPhone and iPod touch that lets users stay connected with their friends at all times. Since the app supports push notifications, users can receive messages even when the app is not running. The coolest feature of the app is undoubtably group chat, which lets users easily set up multi-user chat rooms where groups of friends can participate in an ongoing conversation. Furthermore, TextOne 1.1 introduced picture messages, allowing users to easily share photos with their friends. There has never been a more fun and cozy way of staying in touch with your friends!

Slingball is an experimental two-player game for Apple's iPad. Each player controls a sling-like device, which is used to shoot the white ball into the opponent's goal. The game is won when a player has scored 3 goals.

The app features trailers, behind-the-scenes clips and interviews, plus the ability to download videos and display cinema showtimes in supported countries. The PendlerDuellen ("The Commuter Duel") app is part of an innovative anti-speeding campaign from the Danish road infrastructure authority, Vejdirektoratet. The main part of the campaign is a competition designed to teach young drivers the advantages of following the speed limit, and the dangers of breaking it. The app uses the GPS receiver in the participants' mobile phones to track their driving speeds. The driver who follows the speed limit with the most consistency wins the competition. In the first round, which took place in 2009, the first prize was the right to attend the 2010 LeMans in France as a VIP guest, and as if that wasn't enough, the winner also had an Aston Martin DB9 for his disposal for the entire trip. In the second round, scheduled for Summer 2010, the first prize winner will get a shiny new BMW for 6 months with gas included. The app is available for iPhone through the App Store, Android through Android Market and JavaME handsets through Loadstar. Test Your Hearing is a fun little application that uses high-frequency tones to examine your hearing abilities. Using the app is simple: when you hear a tone, press the big red button. When the test is completed, the app will give you your hearing age based on the average age-related hearing loss. If your hearing age is greater than your own age, you have probably listened to too much loud music. While it may not replace an otologist, it is a fun and easy way to check if your hearing is alright.
